Hosted by ABSI Connect and the University of Lethbridge
How might we take advantage of some of the amazing online learning opportunities at our fingertips right now to harness the power of design thinking and spark really cool innovations and business ideas to improve life for people around Alberta (and the world?) Join ABSI Connect and the University of Lethbridge and use the power of design thinking to ignite your innovation & entrepreneurship journey with a workshop from the Stanford Social Innovation Design school.
In this online intro to design you’ll get exposed to a medley of design abilities, methods, and mindsets. You’ll watch videos and learn what design looks like in the real world, as well as discover ‘what design is’ by doing partner activities and discussions. In three hours you’ll learn over 20 concepts and tools that will help you apply human-centered design to your own work. Join us two weeks later to refine your design with a panel of Alberta based social innovators and social entrepreneurs.
