  1. Acclaimed author Esi Edugyan to deliver 2021 Massey Lectures on art and race
    We know how integral art and creativity can be for the design process. We also know that innovation centred on inclusivity that challenges colonial narratives comes up with great ideas. We're really proud that Esi Edugyan, an acclaimed Albertan author, will be giving the Massey lecture this year and focusing on art and race.

  2. The Banker Ladies (2021)
    This 20 minute documentary about ROSCAs (rotating credit and savings associations, or informal financial institutions), co-operatives and mutual aid among Black Canadian women in Toronto is a great glimpse at social economic structures already at play in Canada. How might these long-standing ideas about mutual savings inspire social innovation in Alberta?
